Phoebus Apollon

I am Phoebus Apollon.

I was born in a village near the island of Crete, some 3000 years ago, or at least some part of me was.

I was reborn, or remade, in a high-tech lab somewhere beneath Paragon City.

I am part god, part man, part I-don't-know-what. A virulent plague wiped out everyone else in the lab, before I could learn why I was created, but that same stroke of misfortune also allowed me to escape.

For a while I tried to hide among humanity, but I am different. Whether forged in the fires of Olympus or programmed into my genes, I don't know, but I have skills and abilities that most people lack.

I also have memories, implanted in my mind for some unknown purpose, of a life that I could not possibly have lived - the life of my namesake - the life of a god.

Whatever I am, I feel obligated to do something with my powers, to make a difference.

To that end, I pledge myself.

I may never know what I truly am, but I know WHO I am, and for now that is enough.
